Flexibility Which Encourages an Individualized Education

VHS elementary curriculum design not only allows for an individualized education, it promotes it.  Each child is an individual, and since no two children learn alike, each child's education should be designed just for him or her.  Parents and teachers communicate at least once every three weeks to chart each student's path.  Success and opportunities for further learning is regularly evaluated through:

   ●   On-going assessment
   ●   Tutoring sessions with teachers
   ●   Regular parent/teacher communication
   ●   Student work submissions

Since each child learns at a unique pace, VHS provides students the flexibility to work at a level that satisfies their individual needs and goals.  Students that are able to work ahead of their grade level are encouraged to do so.
