High Level of Parent/Student Involvement

VHS parents are highly committed to their child's education, and parents are essential to the success of each child.  Parents can expect to be involved each day with their child as they learn and grow.  A parent of an elementary student can expect to spend three hours a day directly involved in their child's learning.

To assist parents in their child's learning the VHS teachers provide guidance, encouragement, and thoughtful ideas.  Teachers work closely with parents providing just the right amount of support for each child to be successful.
